St. Vincent and Beck’s worlds collide once more thanks to the former’s new remix of “Uneventful Days.” The remix of the Hyperspace arrives less than a week before the two stepped in to sing vocals for a benefit show set from the surviving members of Nirvana and just a day after it was announced that they’ll be performing at the upcoming Prince tribute concert.

St. Vincent said of the remix:
I remixed Beck’s new song, ‘Uneventful Days!’ I guess I was listening to a lot of ’70s Herbie and WAR at the time and wondering how much funk was inside me, too. I sent it to Beck and he dug it, but he said ‘it should be 3 bpm faster.’ And what do you know? HE WAS SO RIGHT. It made all the difference in the groove.
