Sophie Allison has announced the follow-up to her debut project as Soccer Mommy. The sophomore album will be released on February 28th via Loma Vista Recordings and it is called color theory. It was produced by Gabe Wax (who produced Clean) and it was mostly while on tour.
Thew announcement also comes with lead single “circle the drain,” which is available for streaming and via its Atiba Jefferson-directed music video.

As the press release notes, the album will explores three central themes: blue, representing sadness and depression; yellow, symbolizing physical and emotional illness; and, finally, gray, representing darkness, emptiness and loss.
