Ozzy Osbourne Details New Album ‘Ordinary Man’ & Shares Title Track feat. Elton John

The Prince of Darkness has revealed new dates about his forthcoming solo album, Ordinary Man. Ozzy Osbourne’s next release will arrive on February 21, and it was produced by Andrew Watt after connecting with him for the hit collaboration with Post Malone and Travis Scott, “Take What You Want.”

The album was recorded in LA and it features producer Andrew Watt on guitars, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses on bass and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ own Chad Smith on drums. The features is just as impressive, including the likes of Post Malone, Tom Morello, and Elton John. The latter’s collaboration, the title track, has been released today. On “Ordinary Man” you’re getting a damn good Classic Rock ballad that’ll get you and your buds throwing up the devil horns with one hand and waving a lighter in the sky with the other. I’m really diggin’ it.

Pre-order the album here. Stream “Ordinary Man” below.

Ozzy had previously released Ordinary Man tracks “Under The Graveyard” and “Straight to Hell.”

Speaking about the guest appearances on Ordinary Man, Ozzy said the following in the press release:

“It all just came together… Slash is a dear friend of mine, as is Elton. When I was writing ‘Ordinary Man,’ it reminded me of an old Elton song and I said to Sharon, ‘I wonder if he would sing on it?’ We asked and lo and behold, he agreed and sings and play piano on the song.”

Ordinary Man will be available as a standard CD, deluxe CD, black vinyl, deluxe gatefold swirl color vinyl, picture disc and digital album. All physical copies of the album will include a unique code that will allow buyers to enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win one of over 300 OZZY prizes (including an official OZZY laminate to get into any show on the 2020 “NO MORE TOURS 2,” meet and greets with OZZY, a gift certificate to the OZZY global store and much more!) All details on the sweepstakes can be found at www.ozzy.com.
