My Chemical Romance’s recent return has gotten fans excited about something bigger that its massive fanbase can enjoy than the handful of dates that have already been announced. Today we’ve received a clue that this belief may be justified thanks to a video shared across MCR’s social channels entitled “An Offering…”
The clip gives us a guitar-picking instrumental and on the visual front we follow a handful of individuals gathering in the woods while wearing cloaks as they surround a pentagram in the ground, as if there was a ritual about to commence.
The video ends with the announcement of a show in Milton Keynes coming on June 20. That’s cool, UK fans, but is that instrumental a tease of a new song or just a suspenseful score for this extended ad? My optimistic side says this has the be the intro for a new jam. Either way, let’s keep our eyes peeled for what may come next.
