Bright Eyes Announce Their Return After a 9-Year Absence

Bright Eyes are back! The hiatus has ended after 9 years, with the Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, and Nathaniel Walcott coming together to play some live dates in 2020. The new decade will also see a new album from the trio, finally providing a follow-up to 2011’s The People’s Key.

The band have announced a handful of shows scattered throughout the year with stops in Tokyo in March, Los Angeles in May, New York in June, and Salisbury, UK in September. There’s a massive gap there in the summer months, so let’s hope the upcoming new album is responsible for the current omission and that way we’ll also be treated to a tour.
