Boston-based indie rock band Crumb came through to Pilsen on their tour featuring their debut full-length album, Jinx, and put on an impressive night of music for a sold-out crowd.
Opening up for Crumb were two acts, Divino Niño and Shormey, who both put on fantastic sets. Shormey is a three-piece collective featuring Shormey Adumuah as lead vocalist and instrumentalist; they play light indie music that’s a beautiful mix between bedroom and lo-fi pop. Shormey were sure to gain some new fans within Thalia’s massive audience. Then came Divino niño, a well-versed group that had every audience member dancing along to their . These dudes were a well-oiled machine and their music was intensified through their stage presence and energy. Definitely check out some of their latest music to get a feel for their vibe.
Then came Crumb who equipped their stage with balloons and a screen backdrop. The psychedelic group ran through cuts off of Jinx as well as tracks off of their breakout EP Locket. The quartet provided such an intimate set that was filled with emotion and great music. Although they are a younger band, the group had an impressive amount of comradery built up and they played very well with one another.
