Ozzy Osbourne has shared the second release off his forthcoming solo album in 10 years, Ordinary Man. The new track is called “Straight to Hell” and it follows up lead single “Under the Graveyard.”
While “Under the Graveyard” occasionally veers into a power ballad direction, this second release is more straightforward in its execution. The church choir opens things up, followed up by a slicing guitar riff, and the mood is completely set when Ozzy chimes in with his signature “alright now.” Ozzy is in fine form throughout the rest of the song, and the solo is a sweet reward on top of a great track.
The first two tracks are fiery and heavy, a perfect sign that Ordinary Man will make Ozzy, and Metal fans in general, very happy. Stream “Straight to Hell” below.
