Kevin Parker, the mastermind behind electronic-rock group Tame Impala, has dropped his second single off of The Slow Rush, his forthcoming LP. “It Might Be Time” features a beautiful mixture of an uptempo, 70s-Esq beat with signature Kev Park psychedelic vibes.
Kevin took to Instagram and apologized to his fans for the wait since his last album Currents, saying,
Hey everyone sorry I’ve been a bit quiet for the last 4 billion years and sorry it’s all been a bit weird this year, there are all sorts of excuses I could serve you but it basically all comes down to me hating the idea of giving you anything that isn’t the best my entire heart and soul and brain can give.
Although the wait was brutal, we finally have a release date for LP4, and I have a feeling it’s going to be something as, if not more, special than Currents. February 14th, 2020 will be the day fans get to experience 10 new tracks, along with already-released “Borderline” and “It Might Be Time.” This 4-minute track should hold fans over until the album, considering “It Might Be Time” has everything you could want out of a Tame Impala single.
