FC Barcelona has a brand new third to sport on their quest to defend their title in the 2019-20 season. The 90s were a fortunate decade the Catalonian giants, but perhaps one of the best non-footballing reasons to remember that era was the eye-catching teal jersey the team wore in the 1996-97 season.
The retro design modernizes that iconic kit that saw Brazilian legend Ronaldo score 47 goals, maintaining elements of the old kit and bringing to life something exceptional for the current one. The new third kit boasts an updated collar (now in a blaugrana color scheme) and a nod to Catalunya with an all-over diamond-shaped jacquard pattern, inspired by Barcelona’s coat of arms.
