El Atlético de Madrid is one of the best teams in La Liga, but with today’s announcement of their new third kit for the 2019-20 season, you could make a huge argument for the Spanish capital squad to be among the best at least when jerseys are concerned.
The new Nike kit is all about the 90s, with a light blue base featuring the club’s nickname, “Atleti,” woven into the fabric in an all-over matte/shine jacquard. The retro aesthetic is topped off with the squared-off collar and the Nike Futura logo. The details is what elevates this design, notably the seven stars — borrowed from Madrid’s coat of arms — are printed across the neckline.
