Don’t say goodbye to summer just yet, The 1975 have new music for you to jam to. The latest track to be released by the British band is called “People,” and it has arrived along with its music video.
I’m really feeling the whole vibe that Matty Healy and the boys are going for with their new release, trading warmer Pop sensibilities for a Punk attitude that inspires rougher production and distressed vocals. The music video mirrors that direction, too, with the band playing inside of a box made up of … and Healy is no longer rocking those signature curls.
The song and its accompanying visual pack a hell of punch and I’m here for it. More please.
“People” is the first single from The 1975’s fourth album, Notes On A Conditional Form, which will be released on February 21, 2020. Stream the track via the music video above.
