Manchester United keep killing it on the jersey side of tackling the 2019-20 season… If only style could be used as a tie-breaker somehow…
The 2019-20 third kit celebrates Manchester United’s first FA Cup win in 1909, in which the club beat Bristol City 1-0. The Lancashire red rose crest that eventual winners had on that final shirt 110 years ago served as the design inspiration for the new shirt. The third kit sports a floral print in grey and black tones that help pay homage to this historic victory.
On the bottom left side of the shirt you’ll find an inscription stating “110 Years – Manchester Rose – 1909-2019.” It’s quite the good looking shirt (if only the chest sponsors would opt for a more seamless integration…) and I’m gonna need this one in my collection.
