Y’all already know I love me some Whitney, so you can imagine my excitement for their release of a new song/video today just in time for their appearance this weekend at Pitchfork Fest.
The new single is entitled “Valleys (My Love)” and it will feature on their forthcoming album Forever Turned Around. The song tackles the feelings that smack you while being away from a loved one. The song’s music video by Kamp Grizzly was directed by Nick Woytuck, was shot in Portland and it centers around a truck driver and being on the road.
The album is due out August 30th via Secretly Canadian, but I imagine fans seeing them at Pitchfork will likely get a pretty good taste of that album there. Check out the clip above.
