Day 2 of the Pitchfork Music Festival was another mighty memorable one. We started the day with a spectacular display from local artist Ric Wilson, who secured his spot on our list of the best performances of #p4kfest 2019 with his set.
Sadly though, a rainstorm brought lightning and caused festival goers to miss out on the late third of Parquet Courts’ performance, along with the cancellation of Kurt Vile & Amber Mark’s planned appearances.
However, coming back to check out Stereolab, Freddie Gibbs, Belle & Sebastian, Jeremih, and The Isley Brothers made us quickly forget about the rain. Needless to say, these acts made sure to make it worthwhile for everyone that found their to Union Park after the short evacuation.
