Seattle’s best weekend in the Summer just wrapped up, as Capitol Hill Block Party returned for its 23rd year and furthered its stride as one of the last independently owned festivals of its size in the country. Capitol Hill has long been known as Seattle’s neighborhood to dance the night away and get lost in the festivities, and this weekend was no different. With a lineup that made sure to attract to attract an audience of all ages, Capitol Hill Block Party 2019 brought artists of all calibers, ranging from big EDM acts such as Snakehips and RL Grime to underground rap artists Jpegmafia and Saba. Through a span of genres and artists, Block Party made a successful return to the streets of Seattle in 2019.
