FC Barcelona turned heads when they announced their home kits for the next campaigns, but they’re surely getting no push-back with today’s arrival of their away shirt counterpart.
This jersey pays tribute to the club’s famed youth academy, La Masia, which opened in 1979. The 40th anniversary kit is yellow, just like the one the club wore decades ago with a diagonal blaugrana sash. At the back of the neck you’ll find a vertical strip featuring the stripes of the Catalan flag. The trims of the sleeves are different on each side — red on left, blue on right.
The 2019-20 FC Barcelona away kit will be available July 9 on nike.com and at official FC Barcelona stores.
