The only thing that makes a music fest better, is getting some aftershows on top of it. Today we’re getting the full slate of aftershows for Pitchfork Music Festival 2019, which is adding Whitney, Valee, Grapetooth to the previously announced performances by Stereolab and Snail Mail.
Whitney will kick off the week-long festivities with the “In Sight Out” event on July 15, coming together with Chicago Reader staff writer Leor Galil for a conversation at the White City Ballroom at the Chicago Athletic Association. Performances from Valee, Grapetooth, CHAI, Cate Le Bon, and Ric Wilson will follow in venues throughout the city.
