It’s always sad to think about how we’ve lost Mac Miller, though there’s always solace in the ability to remember him through his music. Today fans are getting another chance to hear something new from the late artist, thanks to his appearance on the new track by Anderson .Paak’s band, the Free Nationals, which also features Kali Uchis.
The suave track has a great opening hook from Uchis, which serves as her cautious counter to Mac Miller’s part about falling short but wanting to do better.
According to Pitchfork, Mac’s first posthumous verse was recorded back in May of 2018.

The song is set to appear on Free Nationals’ forthcoming album, which will arrive later in 2019.
