Da Chicago Bears are going to celebrating the 100th anniversary of the NFL and the team itself. To commemorate the historic mark, the city’s most unifying team will be throwing it back to 1936.
The 2019 season will see the Bears recreating the uniform it wore that year for one season, which consists of a white jersey featuring navy and orange stripes on the shoulders and sleeves, navy numbers and letters, navy pants and navy and orange striped socks. This version features a Bears100 patch.
The stripes are also the defining design element for the helmet, with three orange stripes running front-to-back. It’s hard to see a Bears helmet without the iconic C, but this modern interpretation sure as hell looks good and fitting for a centennial season.
Check it out below.
The Bears will wear the classic jersey in two games this season: against the Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 29 and versus the Cowboys on Thursday night, Dec. 5, both at Soldier Field.
