Chicago shows no sign of producing dope talent, and the latest MC set to make a name for himself is Ajani Jones. Repping local label Closed Sessions, Jones has announced his debut LP Dragonfly, which will be arriving July 16th.
Speaking in the press release about the work that was put into the new project, Ajani said the following about why he created the LP:
because I realized that growth was essential for myself as a person and artist before I was ready for success and the next phase of my life. I had held onto childish ways and alienated myself so many years and this project was a literal transformation of myself.
