The traditional, iconic black and white stripes are a thing of the past at least for this season for Italian giants Juventus. The current Serie A champs have unveiled next season’s home jersey and it’s taking the club in a whole new direction, at least as far as design is concerned.
The 2019-20 home kit offers a bold reinterpretation of the dynamic between the signature colors that make up the shirt. Instead of the alternating stripes, half of the shirt is in white and the other is black with each sleeve in the respective opposite color, split in the middle of the chest by a bright reddish pink stripe.
It’s wildly different from what we have come to think about when it comes to a Juve shirt, the kind of experimenting teams usually reserve for their third kit offering, but I’m digging it.
