One of Chicago’s finest musical exports of this generation, Jamila Woods is playing a hometown show this weekend at the iconic Thalia Hall.
The May 26 show will feature Nitty Scott as the supporting act, which I can pretty much guarantee it’ll be a hell of a musical night to remember.
Woods is touring in support of her new album LEGACY! LEGACY!, which was released this past May 10th via Jagjaguwar / Closed Sessions. The Chicago stop is just the third show of her North American tour, which will hit cities like Cleveland, Toronto, Brooklyn, Boston, Austin, and more.
