Don’t you just miss Tom Petty sometimes? The Rock world sure lost an icon with his passing, but at least we’ll always have his brilliant music, and the latest to tackle this catalog is Dinosaur Jr.’s J Mascis.
The frontman has shared his rendition of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ classic “Don’t Do Me Like That.” This definitely feels like J Mascis, with a fuzzier guitar lick and sounding more like an early 90s Alternative staple than a 70s Hard Rock jam.
