Foxygen have shared a new single entitled “Work.” The Los Angeles-based duo of Sam France and Jonathan Rado’s latest is a cut from their forthcoming album, Seeing Other People, out April 26th via Jagjaguwar.
The imposing drums are such a great backdrop to France singing the lines “I’m just doin’ all the work, if you got something to say then say it // if I’m such a f*ckin’ jerk then why don’t you write it all down? // are you really doing work, working hard or hardly workin’ now?“… Ya feel me?
I’m really digging the Industrial vibes I’m getting in this too, and the chaotic environment that they create with the rest of the instrumentation is just the kind of treatment the lyrics of frustration need. Listen to “Work” below.
