Cuco made the jump to the major labels earlier this year when he joined the Interscope Records roster, making the anticipation for his next project have some extra flavor now. Today he’s releasing the music video for his recently-released single “Hydrocodone,” which was shot in Mexico City & directed by Jazmín Garcia.
In this visual we find Cuco revisiting his & his band’s recent car accident, exploring the issues that surrounded its aftermath including facing your own mortality and how this impacts your views on who you are. It’s pretty poetic in how it celebrates Mexican culture and portrays our views on death.
Check out the new music video above.
Don’t miss Cuco in his next run through North America for his upcoming headline tour this summer. It’ll start off in the East Coast and will come to a close in his hometown of Los Angeles. Get your tickets now here; details below.
