James Blake’s North American leg of the Assume Form tour was running smoothly until he caught illness early March and was forced to cancel several stops of the tour. Thankfully, fans of the producer/singer/songwriter up in the Pacific Northwest were lucky enough to receive a re-scheduled show Sunday night, March 24, at the Moore Theatre in Seattle.
The audience was treated to a captivating live performance of Blake’s top hits over the years, many of which stem from his fourth studio album Assume Form, including “Mile High” with vocals from Travis Scott, Rosalía in “Barefoot in the Park”, and “Where’s the Catch?” featuring André 3000. One night in a theatre with James Blake gives you a glimpse at the multi-faceted artist with musical talents to spare, and the Assume Form tour is his way of displaying his skills out in the open for all to experience.
