New York, New York, baby! The GovBall 2019 lineup has arrived, and it’s another massive one. The 3-day festival is returning to Randall’s Island Park for the weekend of May 31-June 2 and it will be headlined by hometown boys The Strokes (third appearance in five years), SZA, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Florence + The Machine, The 1975, Nas, Brockhampton, & Major Lazer.
The rest of the roster also boasts Jorja Smith, Blood Orange, Mitski, The Internet, Jessie Reyez, The Voidz (the other of Julian Casablancas appearances of the fest), Vince Staples, Playboi Carti, Kaytranada, Sheck Wes, Beast Coast (Joey Bada$$ + Flatbush Zombies), and Soccer Mommy.
Chicago is also represented heavily on the lineup with local reps in Ravyn Lenae, Saba, Noname, Taylor Bennett, and Ric Wilson. Can we still claim Njomza though? S/o to her either way.
