You know it’s gonna be a good day when Chance The Rapper reemerges with new music… The Chicago artist has dropped a pair of new tracks this Friday, just in time to make them become a part of your weekend plans.
The first has a sort of lo-fi aesthetic with an R&B-infused Hip Hop beat with a vibe that feels like it was plucked from back in the day. In “The Man Who Has Everything,” Chance raps introspectively about everything that he has in life and the importance of not getting lost in that. This has me thinking of Acid Rap era Chano and I’m here for it.
“My Own Thing” has a more contemporary production with two of the finest products to come up from the SaveMoney ranks. Chance & Joey Purp show their cards and let the world know how to come correct.
