The highly-anticipated new album from Chicago’s own Joey Purp, QUARTERTHING has arrived. The follow-up to iiiDrops brings together 14 tracks of pure fire, featuring guest vocals from stellar acts in Ravyn Lenae, Jabari Rayford, RZA, CDot Honcho, Queen Key, and the GZA.
Young Purple deserves all the praise for this project, with the SaveMoney product maturing the sound that he developed for his 2016 release, and with QUARTERTHING you can expect him to carve out a bigger spot in the Hip Hop landscape. If the DJ doesn’t play “Aw Sh*t!” or at least “Elastic” this weekend, tell ’em to take their ass home and do better.
