Cardi B made her highly-anticipated debut on Saturday Night Live, in what’s going to be memorable appearance for years to come.
Not only was becoming the musical guest the culmination of all the great strides she has made since the release of her massive breakthrough “Bodak Yellow,” but Cardi also took advantage of this moment to reveal major personal news.
For her first segment, Cardi B performed a medley of “Bodak Yellow” and “Bartier Cardi” (above), but it was the second segment that will keep people referencing for a while. For that performance the Bronx native not only sang “Be Careful,” but in the middle of that she also revealed that she was pregnant.
Cardi B just released her debut album Invasion of Privacy on Friday, and she’s following up SNL with an appearance on Monday’s (April 9) The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, during which she’ll become the show’s first-ever co-host.
