Just a few days after its surprise announcement, J. Cole’s new album KOD has arrived. First, the Dreamville leader shared the cover art and then earlier tonight he shared a new trailer in which he revealed the trio of meanings behind the three letters: Kids on Drugs, King Overdose, and Kill Our Demons.
Cole’s got some stans out here that helped him gain some meme-able fame for largely working alone, but that may be a thing of the past now because he called in kiLL edward as the sole feature on the album. Is this a legit mysterious rapper coming up or is it a Jermaine Cole alter ego who’s playing into the joke? That info’s is still to come, but at least for now you’ll have 12 tracks to listen to as you speculate.
