Albert Hammond Jr is releasing his latest solo album Francis Trouble this week and to help work up some excitement over his new work he appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday night to play one of its tracks.
The melodic “Set To Attack,” with the signature tread of an AHJ riff, was the song of choice as the Hammond hit the stage sans guitar for the performance. This has a quality to it that will stick in your head so you’ll want to revisit it often, and the guitar solo beefing up for a live setting really gets you excited see this crew play a concert the next time they roll through town.
Francis Trouble will arrive via Red Bull Records on March 9. See the performance above.
