We’re ramping up to 2018 FIFA World Cup RussiaTM and adidas Soccer has finalized the kit preparations for the federations that will be competing in the tournament this summer. Today the brand has unveiled the new Away kits for the national teams of Germany, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Spain, Sweden, Japan, Belgium, and the host nation of Russia.
Right off the bat, we have to highlight just how beautiful the Mexican shirt came out. Its simple and sleek taking inspiration from the national flag, featuring green and red stripes across the chest. Its white shirt with those bold accents make it the most stylish of the bunch.
The second jersey the stands out is Germany’s, the current FIFA World Cup holders bringing back to life their notable 1990 green shirt from the 1990 competition and giving it a fresh new take. The graphic also takes inspiration from from the home kit.
And finally, I have to note the execution on the Belgian kit. Its bold yellow comes straight off the nation’s flag and it’s an eye-catching complement to the red Home kit, standing out for its simplicity. You can also appreciate red and black accents seen on the collar and the adidas three stripes to really hit the notes of national pride.
