Less than a week after they each took home some more GRAMMY awards, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar (*who took won 5 awards!) have released their collab track “Pray For Me” today. The single is the latest cut from Black Panther The Album, the soundtrack for Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated film Black Panther.
Some of the other tracks from the soundtrack that have already seen the light include “All The Stars” (Kendrick x SZA) and “King’s Dead.”
The soundtrack album, which is curated and produced by Kendrick himself along with Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, will hit stores and all digital retailers on February 9, though Black Panther will screen in theaters everywhere from February 16. The album pre-order unlocks instant downloads of all the tracks listed above.
With Kendrick Lamar at the helm, and after hearing the releases so far, it wouldn’t be crazy to think that this soundtrack may well end up as one of the dopest albums of the year!
