Chris Cornell’s recording of Johnny Cash’s “You Never Knew My Mind” has hit the public. The track is Cornell’s posthumous contribution to the upcoming Johnny Cash: Forever Words, due out April 6 on Legacy Recordings.
The project, which will include adaptations of Cash’s poems, also features recordings from Elvis Costello, Willie Nelson, Kacey Musgraves, and more.
