The epic inaugural edition of the Foo Fighters’ Cal Jam 17 festival took place this weekend with a bill that included Queens Of The Stone Age, Cage The Elephant, Royal Blood, The Kills, Liam Gallagher and the Foos themselves. The latter two united forces and recruited Aerosmith’s Joe Perry to perform a live cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together.”
Liam Gallagher has always been known to be a major fan of the Fab Four and Foo Fighters lead singer has a growing working friendship/relationship with former Beatle, Paul McCartney, so this was a dope way to celebrate their admiration for their iconic group.
