Queens Of The Stone Age is the latest act to hit BBC Radio 1’s Piano Sessions series to play a couple of tunes. QOTSA performed a stripped-down, swinging rendition of their Villains lead single “The Way You Used To Do,” along with a cover of a Marty Wilde track.
The performance of their own track shines a completely different light, with the piano changing pretty much everything except the vocals. Josh Homme and crew played it with more of a sinister appeal and it sounds so damn smooth and cool; if they’d ever want to play local Jazz clubs, they’d kill it with this version of “The Way You Used To Do.”
