BØRNS has announced his upcoming headline North American tour for 2018. The Indie-pop artist will be following-up his run of 2017 (sold-out!) club shows, which kicks off here in Chicago at Sub-T on October 15 and ends in San Francisco next month, with a 21-date tour.
The 2018 headline tour will see BØRNS start off in Oakland on January and continue to cities like Vancouver, Milwaukee, Houston, and Cleveland before finishing up on February 17 in Philadelphia.
For this tour, BØRNS has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket will go to support Grid Alternatives and their work bringing accessible renewable energy technology and job training to underserved communities (www.gridalternatives.org).
Check out the tour dates below.
Fans who are signed up to his email list will have first access to purchase tickets HERE. PLUS1 is built from the belief that collective impact leads to social change. Through an innovative $1-per-ticket funding platform, PLUS1 partners with performing artists to add $1 to each concert ticket sold to raise funds and make grants to a wide range of high-impact nonprofits. PLUS1 builds new engaged communities and advocates for supported causes through outreach and activation campaigns centered on the message that many small actions (like $1 donations) can lead to tangible and substantive change. As the dollars add up, PLUS1 uses its collective voice to bring attention to organizations addressing some of the world’s biggest challenges.
Through this initiative, upwards of $4M million has been raised for leading social justice organizations tackling issues from poverty and injustice to the environment by artists including Arcade Fire, The National, St. Vincent, Glass Animals, Flume, and more. (www.plus1.org)
