Loren is back again this month giving us straight bars over rising star producer Luke Almighty’s beat. These two have been making great tracks together and let’s hope we get more in the future. 2017 is Loren’s year and it’ll be exciting to see what else he has in store for us.

Dave East continues to drop quality projects and this month was no different. This track doesn’t really feature Nas except for him talking at the beginning and the end of the track. Although I prefer this, as Dave goes in showing off his great lyrical skills and why he’s one of the best on the East coast. S/o Joe Joe Beats as well as the instrumental goes crazy.

These guys are on fire, August has been a huge month for this group and their recent project did not disappoint. This track specifically was a standout with this catchy fast paced beat and each MC bodying their verses. Look out for these guys, they are destined for big things.

You should never sleep on Wu Tang track but because of when it was released in the month it could have dropped with you knowing. Nevertheless, this track is incredible, each verse is better than the next and the beat is a 10/10. I can’t wait for their album this fall.

One of my favorite duos in Chicago, Chris $pencer, dropped their highly anticipated sophomore album this month. The whole album is fire and this track is my favorite off it featuring Sulaiman, combined with Chris Crack x Vic Spencer they all completely body this track. They can’t lose. and their album “Blessed” is a must listen.
