The final date of Pitchfork Music Festival 2017 arrived to much anticipation with another stacked day of awe-striking acts. Headlined by Solange, the other artists that captured our attention were Isaiah Rashad, Jamila Woods, Pinegrove, Joey Purp, and NE-HI.
Solange was majestic and delivered a performance worthy of all the hype that surrounded her 2016 album A Seat at the Table. Jamila Woods was called upon to take a jump up and sub into The Avalanches scheduled slot, and it was a proud moment for all of us in Chicago to see her seize the moment. Purp was another hometown artist that provided some highlights, bringing out his fellow SaveMoney members Vic Mensa, Towkio, and KAMI to play some tunes with him.
