SLKRS [slackers] released their new collection, Los SLKRS Collection, back in late April via a pop up shop at Vintage Lounge in Little Italy. The event was a success with the entire collection selling out in a matter of days. If you didn’t make it out back in April, you’re in luck. “With the new collection, I wanted to create something that I could relate to. In streetwear, I feel like I don’t completely connect to a lot of brands because I’m Latino. I can obviously relate with the Chicago brands but I wanted something that a Latino in Chicago could relate to.
Moving forward, I’m going to keep LOS in front of SLKRS. We already have plans on shooting our next lookbook in Mexico City.” –DaveTheSLKR
