I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of Lil Yachty’s (I won’t hate on dude; he’s doing work), but my opinion on the rising star might be changing if he keeps making moves like this! So “Lil Boat” did a lil video for The Tonight Show in which he rapped about 59 characters from The Simpsons, my favorite show ever, and it’s all pretty damn good.
Yachty was on the mic rocking all yellow with a jewelry piece inspired by the show, with the help from members of The Roots playing a minimalistic take on the theme song and host Jimmy Fallon helping guide things with some cue cards. There are some pretty dope bars here that true fans of the show would appreciate like “Hans Moleman was saying Boo Urns” and “I’ma school you like Chalmers and Skinner/Serving up steamed hams for dinner/I’m on fire, world that’s a fallacy/It’s really aurora borealis-y.”
Check it out above.
