Arcade Fire are currently out touring Europe, but that hasn’t stopped them from rolling out new music from forthcoming album Everything Now.
Their latest offering is called “Creature Comfort,” which is now also available with its music video. The song is pretty straightforward lyrically, setting aside their more poetic beginnings for an approach that hits you in a simple, but equally effective mode for delivering their message, set to the beat of Industrial sounds. The song covers superficiality and its toxicity, along with the nature of insecurities; the best line is the recurring “God make me famous if you can’t just make it painless.”
