Arcade Fire Release New Song “Everything Now”; Announce Album and the ‘Infinite Sound Tour’

A day after people started sharing videos of themselves playing a new Arcade Fire song that was being sold at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound Festival, and after having performed the song live for the first time at a surprise show in Barcelona, Arcade Fire has now released “Everything Now,” the title track from the band’s fifth album due out July 28th.

The song was released paired with its video; you can check that out above. Below you’ll find details on the new album and the dates of their Infinite Content Tour.

For this new album, Arcade Fire will see their first release under their new partnership with the global media and e-commerce platform Everything Now in synergy with the Sony Corporation. The album was produced by Arcade Fire, Thomas Bangalter (one half of Daft Punk) and Steve Mackey, with co-production by Markus Dravs. Everything Now was recorded at Boombox Studios in New Orleans, Sonovox Studios in Montreal, and Gang Recording Studio in Paris.

Everything Now will be available physically as CD, cassette, and heavyweight black vinyl LP—which will feature 20 different artwork variants, each bearing the album title in one of 20 different languages. There will also be a limited exclusive “Night” packaging of both CD and colored vinyl LP formats.

“Everything Now” is available with pre-orders of the album and is now live on streaming platforms.

Arcade Fire has also announced the first leg of the Infinite Content tour, featuring an extensive fall run of North American dates. Tickets for the shows listed below go on sale beginning Friday, June 9th at 10am local time. Further dates will be announced as they are confirmed.
