Kweku Collins has released a new EP titled simply Grey. The Chicago-area artist produced the 9-track project in its entirety, recruiting Allan Kingdom, Sylvie Grace, and Kipp Stone as the only features.
While it’s not exactly the follow-up to his breakthrough debut Nat Love, it’s a good snapshot of where young Kweku is at this point of his life and can best be appreciated as a sign of more dopeness to come. In what’s considered his most personal project to date, Collins hits on themes including privilege and loss. Hear it after the jump.
Kweku will be hitting the road this year in support of the new EP, joining Vallis Alps on a 10-date Spring tour. You can find those dates below as well.
