We haven’t heard any new music from churchdontstop in a minute, but yesterday he finally dropped a new visual for his song “Mick and Mallory” and it was well worth the wait. Church actually took care of the artistic direction for the video himself, teaming up with yakubfilms to make an amazing piece of art filled with neon lighting and lots of smoke. You can really feel the tumultuous druggy love that he is he rapping about over the smooth self-produced beat. (What can’t this guy do?) According to the @thesedays_news interview he did, Church is working on releasing his project Pray For Reign this summer and is forming a collective of creatives called PRAYMORE so expect a lot to come from this brilliant artist.
Here is what CHURCHDONTSTOP wrote on his website in regards to his latest drop:
“Love is a drug. And just like any drug, when you mix them, there’s either a beautiful or fatal reaction, neither matters. What matters is what you gather from it, just like anything else. Time is all we have and as it passes one should be learning and growing deeper into themselves. This presentation idealizes my adventures in love, as dark as it may be, I still see great beauty in it all.” – Church
