On “Pusha Man” Chance The Rapper dropped the line “Somebody get Katie Couric in here,” and finally life imitates art this week with the storied journalist paying Chano a visit in his hometown of Chicago. In a much lighter scene than what’s painted in the Acid Rap cut, Couric met up with the Chicago rapper in the very Chicago location of Harold’s Chicken on 87th, to discuss the life of Chano.
Chance and Couric talked about the journey of going from Chancellor Bennett to Chance The Rapper, how he earns his dough through merch and live shows, being a father, winning Grammys, President Barack Obama, and his involvement in fostering good vibes to promote a safer Chicago. That and so much more can be seen on the main video above plus clips shown after the jump that are a part of this feature.
