D.R.A.M. had quite the 2016 having one the years most memorable tracks with Broccoli, as well as dropping his debut album Big Baby D.R.A.M. Along with this, the “Cha Cha” rapper also was able to get a spot on Chance’s Coloring Book topping off a year of highlights. With all that, a lot of people still only know him for Cha Cha & Broccoli without realizing how diverse this guy really is. He’s able to rap with the best of them and use his voice to give any track some much needed soul. Don’t worry though, I got you covered with 5 of the dopest D.R.A.M. songs outside his most famous two to get you ready for his show on January 27th @ The Metro.
Cash Machine
D.R.A.M. displays why he is one of the best hit makers in the game on this one. Rap needed a song that you could play when that direct deposit hit and D.R.A.M. came through with one that should last for generations.

Caretaker
This short song off of Surf first introduced to me to D.R.A.M. back in the day and made me realize how incredible his vocals are. This short soulful song shows how much of a two way threat D.R.A.M. is in the game.

Erything
One thing I love about D.R.A.M. is how much he pushes his sound. This song is a perfect example of this, which sounds like it could be from the 80’s or even a 90’s R&B at album at some points. Genius.

Monticello Ave
This song is one of my favorite as it showcases how dope D.R.A.M. can be as a rapper. On this song he gives you some dope bars, while also telling a story about significant other from back in the day.

Wifi Featuring Erykah Badu
This song really tests how far D.R.A.M. can stretch on a soulful level as he teams up with the OG of R&B Erykah Badu. However, he holds his own on this making it one of his best tracks overall. We need more collabs from these two in the future.
