Gorillaz are back, baby! Damon Albarn and crew have returned with a new song called “Hallelujah Money,” an anti-Trump joint that features guest lead vocals from Benjamin Clementine. This is our first look at what the group has in store for us on their project due out later this year.
On the music video, which was directed by Gorillaz & Giorgio Testi, we find Clementine singing into the camera from Trump Tower as different eye-catching visuals are projected behind him. As Pitchfork points out, the video incorporates La Candelaria brotherhood imagery and NOT the infamous Ku Klux Klan.
