With my recent relocation to the Sacramento area for a little bit, I’ve got to connect with some dope amazing Sacramento artists. It’s different from the Chicago music scene I’m used to and I appreciate that. Of course, I still love everything going on back home, but it’s cool to shed some lit on some unheard talent; which is what I’m all about. Right now I’ve been listening to Jerry Black’s “Lemonde” which was forwarded to be by my friend Robbie of HOF. HOF is a cool Sacramento blog/movement out here in Sacramento that connects with their Sacramento talent, kind of like us here at POD. Jerry also performed at HOF’s #HOFDAY.
Jerry’s “Lemonade” is very catchy, tell me why I caught myself singing it all day.(lol)
Jerry on “Lemonade”:
“‘Lemonade’ was made over the weekend when I went to visit my friend in San Diego. I stopped by LA on the way home and linked with my in-house producer WOODS from Atlanta…and he made the beat over the weekend and I heard it and just caught a vibe.”
